HAWAII

Hawaii was our first big vacation together.  Twelve days and eleven nights about one of our country's greatest treasures.  In typical Hawaii fashion, most of our days were spotted with light and brief rain showers.  However, most of the time, the sun was warm and strong.  This was evidenced by our seriously dark tans.  Much of our time was spent at the shoreline of Waikiki beach on the island of Oahu.  Though we did take a short flight to Maui for a two day trip that left us longing for more.    Over the course of our vacation, we were actively involved in touristy and adventurous activities about half the days.  We snorkeled on both islands, parasailed, took a day trip around Oahu, shopped in Lahaina, Maui, ate out in formal attire frequently, visited the Dole Pineapple Plantation, and much more.  In the end, we loved Hawaii enough to consider making a one year relocation there.  If we do indeed go, you can be sure we will update this page!
